Galleri Faurschou
Galleri Faurschou originated in 1986 by Luise and Jens Faurschou in central Copenhagen, where it still remains.
From the outset, the goal has been to exhibit and promote art of the highest international calibre. This commitment to such a high standard continues to be the salient feature of Galleri Faurschou today.
The gallery's operations are concentrated in a multitude of areas. It focuses on modernist masterworks made by artists such as, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso and Asger Jorn. In its contemporary programme the gallery presents: Erik A. Frandsen, Michael Kvium, Christian Lemmerz, Bjarne Melgaard, Nina Sten-Knudsen, Michael Bevilacqua, Erik Parker and Tom Sanford. Gallery Faurschou exhibits on an ongoing basis Georg Baselitz, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Per Kirkeby, Wim Delvoye, Mark Tansey, Shirin Neshat.
Luise and Jens Faurschou with respective degrees in art history and economics, blend their professional acumen to shape the direction of the gallery.
